Flying the flag for ethical finance
Ethical finance is an increasingly visible part of the investment landscape. Our client, Omar Shaikh, is a widely respected authority in this sector and, after a prior successful rebrand engagement for the UKIFC, he asked us to develop a new identity for his latest passion project – the Global Ethical Finance Initiative.
Importantly, the brand had to be robust enough to carry various sub brands – additional projects that fell under the GEFI umbrella. Varying from small, selcted round table discussion series to large multinational conferences, the work of GEFI is as wide ranging as is is vital.
This project combined brand, print and web services, often with short timescales to an exacting quality. The results have helped raise the profile in an authoritative fashion, helping introduce an important new organisation to many of the most influential members of the global political and enterprise communities.
Brand
After consultation, it was clear that the brand had to evoke a global, institutional feel and serve a role in consolidating thought leadership in ethical finance. The flag motif, embedding the initials EF was our creative solution.
The range of print work developed for GEFI has played a significant role in the promotion of the clients values. Each item has had to present a calm professionalism with bright, open structures.

The initial build of this website had to be intuitive, as the client sought to take a hands on role in the advancement of the site. The Wordpress platform allowed us to achieve this in a safe, secure fashion.
